Activities
The IEEE Power &
Energy Society of Republic of Macedonia helps IEEE PES to
carry out its mission by organizing numerous activities at
local level including:

promotion of the study and
practice of power systems engineering

interchange of technical
information and experience in power engineering
-
organizing workshops
dedicated to the latest developments in power and energy
-
organizing lectures from
eminent lecturers from the country and abroad
-
supporting power and
energy professional and scientific conferences
-
fostering collaboration
among members
-
promoting linkage with
other PES Chapters in Region 8 and in the other Regions

Archive: Some events that happened more than six months ago

In the
framework of the regular activities of the IEEE PES
Chapter of Republic of Macedonia, a lecture by
professor Anjan Bose was organized at the
Faculty of EE & IT, Ss Cyril and Methodius
University in may 2010. Professor Bose is with
the Washington State University and is distinguished
lecturer in the IEEE DLP list.

In
2008, the IEEE PES Chapter of Republic of Macedonia
organized several events, including a lecture by
professor Math Bollen, a world renowned expert in
the field of power quality.
